Leather Lounge

Adjustable in height and supremely comfortable, this lounge chair comfortable seats two in a reclined position.

Fishy Rocking Stool

This unique work is a steel hollow form solid made from 14 gauge carbon steel. Somewhere between a tadpole and the tail of a mermaid the Fishy Rocking Stool wobbles and twists in all directions. Despite a surprisingly comfortable seat; when riding the rocking stool one should make use of the handle!

Nature In Industry

A lone wind swept tree on a rocky outcrop this stainless steel sculpture celebrates the perseverance of the proud individual. 

This imagery is well know to all along the rocky New England Seacoast.

Neptune's Crown

The god of the sea would enjoy the water droplet splashing aesthetic of this padded steel crown with brass trim and glass jewels.

Gunter Dolphinius

This piece was a group project and is included here because of its extreme coolness. Gunter is a bucking Dolphin RIDE. He is a hollow form steel made at The Penland School of Crafts during a steel furniture fabrication class taught by Vivian Beer with hydraulic press work by Hoss Halley.

Cast Bronze

Modeled in clay using a live model, a plaster mold was then made and a wax cast. Almost anything that a mold can be made from can be cast in bronze.

Memorial Easel 1

Repourposed steel from an industrial demolition site and new structural steel are combined to create this easel. The design commemorates the destruction and reconstruction of the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth NH.

2D works can be hung on the perforated steel screen, which can be raised or lowered.

Memorial Easel 2

This display easel is the second in the "Old Steel - New Steel" series, commemorating the Memorial Bridge in Portsmouth NH.  

2D works are hung between adjustable brackets which slide on a square steel tube at the center of this sculptural composition.

Strait Back Steel Cushion

This fun seat started with a simple steel box made from 14 gauge  steel.  Add some legs and a back, play with some patina... Oh yeah, there is a cute matching desk too!

Four Arcs

This piece was designed for a favorite client.  Four Arcs is an end table produced with elegant treatment of industrial materials.  Fully welded steel is then lightly blued and brushed to a weathered effect. The concrete is polished to mirror smoothness, dyed, and sealed for a life time of durability.

Presentation Pedestal

These two pedestals were made to order by a repeat client to present a pair of figure sculptures.  The feet are 1/2" x 2" material bent into a 12" diameter circle.  All the steel is blued and then distressed.  The top steel ring has black polished concrete cast into it and finished to mirror smoothness. 

Hollow formed Bench

The Hollow Formed Bench is a beautiful piece of furniture suitable for indoor or outdoor use. There is an internal frame wrapped with rolled 11 gauge steel. The negative shape in the center is formed with white cement and polished smooth. The rust patina has been waxed to a leather like texture.
