A Cabinet for Standing to Shave

Project Description

This piece is designed to be a furniture accessory and it matches the bathroom vanity in my apartment.  It is very much a piece of furniture, and it is clearly, I hope, designed to echo standard architectural built in cabinetry.  Functionally; when I shave in the morning and brush my teeth it is usually before I am fully dressed and in that situation I need some extra support. The porcelain dish on the top of this sort of pedestal support is at the right height for me to lay my leg in while using the sink.  I cast it around a mold I made from myself and tried to match the finish of my existing sink and the cabinet below it.
